A small college that reads like a large ambition

Aldermont was built on a simple wager: that rigor and warmth aren't opposites. Our faculty know your name by week two and your thesis argument by week ten. Our library stays open past midnight because our students ask it to.

Submit the common application, one graded paper, and a short recorded conversation with an alum — no interview suit required.

Committee review

Every file is read by two faculty members and one current student. We look for evidence of curiosity, not just credentials.

Decisions and aid

Admitted students receive a full financial aid package in the same letter — need-blind, need-met, no separate scholarship hunt.
